Affirm verifies requests by matching identifiers or confirming contact details

Before processing a request, Affirm verifies it. Depending on the request and how it was submitted, Affirm does this by asking you to provide personal identifiers it can match against information it previously collected, and by asking you to confirm the request using the email address or telephone number stated in the request. If you authorized someone else, such as an authorized agent, Affirm requires a signed letter confirming that person's identity and authority, which can be sent to privacy@affirm.com with the subject line "authorized third party."
