Entrust seeks contractual safeguards on shared data where legally possible, with a government-disclosure exception
Whenever legally possible, Entrust seeks to protect the personal information it shares by imposing contractual privacy and security safeguards on the recipient. In some cases this is not possible, for example when Entrust has a legal obligation to disclose information to a government authority and that authority is not willing to enter into such contractual safeguards.

Entrust uses pseudonymization and administrative, physical, technical and organizational security measures
Where possible, Entrust pseudonymizes, de-identifies and/or aggregates personal data to protect privacy and minimize security risks. It explains pseudonymized data as information replaced, transformed or removed so that it no longer identifies an individual without additional information. Entrust also takes administrative, physical, technical and organizational measures designed to help protect the information it holds from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
