Use & Processing · Procedure
Cancel AncestryDNA lab processing through Member Services; a submitted sample needs its tube code to be destroyed
You may cancel the laboratory processing of your AncestryDNA kit by contacting Member Services. If you have already sent in your sample, you must give Member Services the sample tube code so that Ancestry can identify the sample and destroy it. The tube code is included in the test kit, and Ancestry recommends storing it somewhere safe. Cancelling processing is a separate step from obtaining a refund, which follows the refund-eligibility rules for kits.
