Users may not violate privacy laws or collect private, biometric or neural data without permission

Users may not violate privacy rights as defined by applicable privacy laws, such as sharing personal information without consent or accessing private data unlawfully. The same section prohibits misuse, collection, solicitation, or access without permission to private information such as non-public contact details, health data, biometric or neural data (including facial recognition), or confidential or proprietary data. The first limb measures privacy by applicable privacy laws; the second turns on the absence of permission and names biometric and neural data among its examples.
