Enrolling and using means agreeing; Services still need activating
By enrolling in and using the Digital Platforms and the Services you agree to be bound by the General Terms and Conditions and by the terms specific to each Service in the Addenda. A Service does not turn on just because you agreed: it is not activated until you take the necessary steps through a Digital Platform. Any Service you had already activated stays active after you accept this Agreement.

Tell Chase immediately when the Account Administrator changes; Authorized Users stay until you change them
You agree to tell Chase immediately about any change in who the Account Administrator is. The Administrator’s access continues until you give written notice of the change and Chase has had a commercially reasonable time to act. Changing the Administrator does not automatically change the access of Authorized Users, so you must keep their entitlements up to date. Chase may, at its option and without liability to you, suspend any user’s access to the Online Services at any time without prior notice if it considers that reasonably necessary under the circumstances.
Supporting quotations
You understand and agree to advise us immediately of any changes in the identity of the Account Administrator. Access to the Online Services by the Account Administrator as provided herein shall continue until such time as you have given us written notice of any changes to the Account Administrator and until we have had a commercially reasonable time to act upon such notice. You further understand and agree that changes to the Account Administrator will not automatically affect the access or entitlements of the Authorized Users to your accounts via the Online Services. It is your responsibility to maintain the entitlements of the Authorized Users at all times; provided, however, that we may at our option and without liability to you, suspend access to the Online Services to any user at any time, without prior notice, if we deem it to be reasonably necessary under the circumstances to do so.
Qualifications & exceptions

e-Bills: activating ends paper bills from that Payee and works with only one financial institution
e-Bills is a feature of the Bill Payment Service that lets you receive bills electronically from participating Payees. By activating it you agree to the terms in this Section to get e-Bills and related communications electronically, and must agree to each Payee’s terms, which include not receiving paper bills. Enrolling ends the Payee’s paper statements to you, including reformatted paper statements such as Braille or enlarged font, and any accommodation or exception is to be agreed between you and the Payee, not Chase. You must enrol each Payee individually, and the right to receive e-Bills for a Payee is limited to one financial institution: activating through Chase ends delivery through your current institution, and activating through another institution ends it through Chase.
Supporting quotations
6. Terms applicable to your use of the e-Bills Service for both Consumer and Business Accounts
E-Bills is a feature of the Bill Payment Service that enables you to receive bills electronically from participating Payees.
a. Electronic Communications/Payee Terms. By activating e-Bills, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions stated in this Section to get e-Bills, and to get other related communications electronically. By activating e-Bills, you will be required to agree to each Payee’s terms and conditions, which will also include the requirement to not to receive paper bills. For avoidance of doubt, you understand and agree that enrollment into e- Bills will terminate the provision of paper statements to you by the Payee, including any reformatted paper statements, i.e., Braille or enlarged font, that you were receiving from the Payee, and any accommodations or exceptions will be agreed upon and made between you and the Payee and not J.P. Morgan Chase.
b. Limitations. You must enroll each Payee individually in e-Bills. You also acknowledge and agree that the right to activate and receive e-Bills for each Payee is limited to one financial institution. If you activate e-Bills for a particular Payee through us, you will no longer receive e-Bills for that Payee through the financial institution through which you’re currently receiving such e-Bills. Conversely, if you activate e-Bills for a particular Payee through another financial institution, your action will effectively terminate the e- Bills service for that Payee and you will no longer receive such e-Bills through us.
Qualifications & exceptions
This section applies to both Consumer and Business Accounts.
Enrollment is per Payee.
Only one financial institution can deliver e-Bills for a given Payee.

Cancelling e-Bills: either side can stop, with a delay of one or two cycles
All parties may cancel the e-Bills service at any time. Chase may also stop delivering e-Bills for certain Payees or customers, will notify you if Chase or a Payee stops e-Bills, and may end a Payee’s participation at any time. If you ask for an e-Bill to be discontinued, Chase generally needs at least seven Business Days for the Payee to receive and process the request, so you may get no paper statement from the Payee and no e-Bill through a new financial institution, but continue to get e-Bills from Chase for one or two cycles.
Supporting quotations
f. Cancel e-Bills. All parties have the right to cancel the e-Bills service at any time. We may also elect to discontinue delivering e-Bills for certain Payees or customers. We will notify you if J.P. Morgan Chase or a Payee discontinues/stops e-Bills. If you request that an e- Bill be discontinued, we generally require at least seven (7) Business Days for the Payee to receive and process the request. Therefore, you may not receive a paper statement from the Payee, and/or you may not receive an e-Bill through the new financial institution through which you have activated the e-Bill service for the Payee, but continue to receive e-Bills from us instead for one or two cycles. We also reserve the right to terminate a Payee’s participation in e-Bills at any time.

Zelle tags: initially business only for enrolling, consumers can pay them; tags can be removed or changed
The Service may let you use a unique alphanumeric identifier on your enrolled User profile (a "Zelle tag") instead of your mobile number or email address when sending, receiving or requesting money. Not all Users are eligible, and Zelle and Chase decide eligibility in their sole discretion. Initially only Chase Business Account Users can enrol a Zelle tag, although consumer Zelle Users may send money to and receive payment requests from a User using a Zelle tag. Each tag must have an eligible U.S. mobile number associated with it, there is a limit on how many tags you may use, and a tag must meet the Content Standards and must not mislead or deceive Users about your identity. Neither Chase nor Zelle must monitor tags, but both have absolute discretion to remove one at any time and for any reason without notice, may require you to change it, may make a tag unavailable to you without liability, and may monitor tags to detect and prevent fraud or breaches. You may be exposed to an offensive tag, Chase and Zelle assume no liability for tags and make no warranty that a tag accurately identifies a User. Chase may limit or end use of its products and services for users who use or publish content subject to intellectual property rights claims.

n. Zelle tags: The Service may include functionality for you to use a unique alpha-numeric identifier to your enrolled User profile to be used in lieu of your mobile phone number or email address when sending, receiving, or requesting money, which will be your “Zelle® tag.” Not all Users may be eligible for Zelle tag enrollment, and Zelle and Chase may determine eligibility in their sole discretion. Initially, only Chase Business Account Users of our Zelle service are eligible to enroll a Zelle tag, although consumer Zelle Users may send money to and receive payment requests from a User using a Zelle tag. Each Zelle tag must have an eligible U.S. mobile phone number associated with it, and there will be a limit on the number of Zelle tags you may use. Your Zelle tag must meet the Content Standards. You may not select a Zelle tag that misleads or deceives other Users of the Service as to your identity, or otherwise. Although neither we nor Zelle have any obligation to monitor User Zelle tags, both we and Zelle® have absolute discretion to remove a User Zelle® tag at any time and for any reason without notice. We and Zelle may require you to change your Zelle tag in our sole discretion, and we may elect to make a Zelle tag unavailable to you, without any liability to you. We and Zelle may also monitor User Zelle tags to detect and prevent fraudulent activity or violations of the terms and conditions. You understand that by using the Service, you may be exposed to a Zelle tag that is offensive, indecent, or objectionable. We and Zelle are not responsible for, and assume no liability, for any User Zelle tags, including any loss or damage caused thereby. We and Zelle make no representation or warranty that a User Zelle tag accurately identifies a particular User of the Service. We respect the intellectual property of others and require that users of the Service comply with relevant intellectual property laws, including copyright and trademark laws. We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, limit or terminate the use of our products or services for users who use or publish content on the Service that is subject to intellectual property rights claims.
Qualifications & exceptions
Only Chase Business Account Users can enrol a Zelle tag initially; consumers can pay to one.
Removal or change of a tag is at Chase’s and Zelle’s discretion and without notice.

Zelle enrollment: regular email and permanent U.S. mobile number, and re-verification after 12 months of inactivity
You must give an email address you regularly use (no disposable addresses) and a permanent U.S. mobile phone number you intend to use for an extended period (no "burner" numbers), and immediately update any registered email or mobile number you give up or stop using. You may not enrol with a home or landline number, toll-free number, Google Voice number or Voice over Internet Protocol number. To send, request or receive money a User must be enrolled in Zelle at Chase or another Network Financial Institution and have an eligible To or From Account, and for transfers between you and another Chase User both must be Chase Accounts. Once enrolled you can authorize debits to send money at your initiative or in response to a request, and receive money at another User’s initiative or in response to your request, subject to the Requesting Money section. If you neither send nor receive money for twelve consecutive months, Chase may contact you or take other steps to confirm the number, email or Zelle tag still belongs to you, and if it cannot confirm, or learns you are not the owner, it may cancel your enrolment until you enrol again. A Z logo appears on your profile for each enrolled U.S. mobile number, email address or Zelle tag to show other Users which to use, and if a User sends money using a different number or email you have, you receive a message with instructions to enrol it. If you select a Zelle tag, the mobile number tied to your profile is used as a Contact Method for service communications.

2. Enrolling in the Service
You must provide us with an email address that you regularly use and intend to use regularly (i.e., no disposable email addresses) and a permanent U.S. mobile phone number that you intend to use for an extended period of time (i.e., no “burner” numbers), and must immediately update any registered email address or mobile phone number that you surrender or no longer use. You may not register or enroll with a home phone or “landline” phone number, toll-free number, Google Voice number, or Voice over Internet Protocol phone number.
To send, request and/or receive money, the User must (i) be enrolled in Zelle at Chase or at another Network Financial Institution, and (ii) have an eligible To Account or From Account, and in the case of transfers between you and another User at J.P. Morgan Chase, eligible To and From Accounts that are Chase Accounts.
Once enrolled, you may: (i) authorize a debit of your account to send money to another User at your initiation or in response to the request of that User; and (ii) receive money from another User at that User’s initiation or in response to your request, subject to the conditions of the Section below titled “Requesting Money.”
If at any time while you are enrolled, you do not send or receive money using the Service for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, we may contact you and/or take other steps to confirm that the U.S. mobile phone number, email address, or Zelle tag (if applicable) that you enrolled still belongs to you. If we are unable to confirm that you are the owner of the mobile phone number, email address, or Zelle tag, or we receive information that you are not the owner of the mobile number or email address, then you understand that we may cancel your enrollment and you will not be able to send or receive money with the Service until you enroll again.
Once enrolled, a Z logo will appear on your profile for each U.S. mobile number, email address, and/or Zelle tag (if applicable) that you have enrolled with Zelle. The Z logo will be displayed to other Users to aid them in determining which of your U.S. mobile numbers, email addresses, and/or Zelle tag should be used to send money to you with Zelle. If a User sends you money using a different U.S. mobile number, email address, or Zelle tag (if applicable) that they may have for you (for example, your e- mail or mobile phone number that is not already enrolled with Zelle), you will receive a message with instructions on how to enroll with Zelle.
If you enroll for the Service and select to use a Zelle tag, the mobile phone number associated with your User profile will be used as a Contact Method for communication related to the Service and must meet the requirements described herein.
Qualifications & exceptions
Landline, toll-free, Google Voice and VoIP numbers cannot be used to enrol.
Chase may cancel enrolment if it cannot confirm ownership after twelve months without sending or receiving.

Zelle: you can block other Users, but blocking is not guaranteed
If you receive a Zelle payment or request from another User, or have sent one and no longer want to receive payments or requests from that User, the Service may let you block them in the Chase mobile app or at chase.com, and you may block, unblock or reblock at any time. Once you block a User, they cannot send payments or requests to you unless you remove the block, though you can still pay them. Chase will take reasonable steps to block fully, but because of Network limitations changes to the User’s account or Zelle IDs may affect the block, so Chase cannot guarantee you will not receive another payment or request and you may need to block again. Chase does not guarantee the availability, timeliness or success of blocking, does not notify the blocked User though it cannot guarantee they will not find out, and neither Chase nor Zelle is liable to you or any third party for losses from a delay or failure to block or for later payments or requests that cannot be blocked due to Network limitations.

If you receive a Zelle payment or request for payment from another User, or have sent a payment or request for payment and no longer want to receive payments or requests for payments from that User, the Service may include functionality that allows you to block them through Zelle with Chase in the Chase mobile app or online in your account at chase.com. You may block, unblock or reblock the User at any time. You understand and agree that once you place a block through Zelle with Chase:
The blocked User will not be able to send any payments or requests through the Service to you unless you remove the block; you will still be able to send payments to the blocked User;
While we will take reasonable steps to completely block your selected User from transacting with you on Zelle with Chase, due to Network limitations at this time, certain changes pertaining to the User’s account and/or Zelle IDs may impact the effectiveness of the User block; we cannot guarantee that you will never receive another payment or request for payment from that User post-block and if you do, you may need to block the User again;
We do not guarantee the availability, timeliness or success of any blocking functionality
We will not notify the User that you have blocked them;
Neither we nor Zelle shall have any liability to you or any third party for any losses or damages related to any delay or failure by us to block a User, for any subsequent payments or requests from that User that we are unable to block due to Network limitations.
Qualifications & exceptions
Blocking is not guaranteed and may need repeating.
You can still send payments to a User you have blocked.
