Arbitration notice covers most disputes (cited as Section 13)
The opening notice warns that the agreement has an arbitration provision covering most disputes between you and Chase about this Agreement, and tells you to read it because it affects your rights. The notice points to "Section 13 of the General Terms and Conditions", but in the supplied text Section 13 is titled "No Warranties by J.P. Morgan Chase" and the arbitration terms appear under Section 14, "Disputes and Arbitration". The reference is therefore recorded as not matching the section numbers in this document.
Supporting quotations

Qualifications & exceptions
The notice says "most disputes", not all.

Account agreements and other documents control if they directly conflict
You also agree to follow other written requirements Chase gives you for the Digital Platforms, Services or Products, such as account agreements, loan documents, cardmember agreements, end user license agreements and privacy policies (the "Other Documents"), and all applicable state, federal and international laws. If there is a direct and irreconcilable conflict between this Agreement and the Other Documents, the Other Documents control unless this Agreement specifically says otherwise. This Agreement is not meant to change the Other Documents, which keep applying to your accounts.

How terms are read: capitalized terms, headings, "including", "or"
Capitalized terms have the meanings in the General Terms and Conditions, the applicable Addendum or the Glossary; any capitalized term used but not defined takes its meaning from the Other Documents. Words such as "herein" refer to the whole Agreement. Titles and captions are for convenience only and do not define or limit the scope of any provision. "Include", "includes" and "including" are examples, not an exclusive list, whether or not followed by "without limitation". "Or" and "and/or" are to be taken as accurate unless context suggests otherwise, and each covenant is a separate and independent covenant. The Spanish version is a courtesy and the English version prevails if the meanings differ.
Supporting quotations
Unless otherwise defined within these General Terms and Conditions or the applicable Addendum, capitalized terms have the meanings given to them in the Glossary. Any capitalized terms used but not defined have the meaning given in the Other Documents.
Except as otherwise provided, the terms “hereby,” “herein,” “hereof,” “hereto,” “hereunder,” and similar terms refer to this Agreement as a whole and not to the specific section, subsection, paragraph, or other subdivision of this Agreement in which those terms appear.
All titles or captions are inserted only as a matter of convenience and for reference and in no way define, limit, construe, or describe the scope of this Agreement or the intent of any provision hereof.

Each covenant and agreement will be construed
If there is any difference in meaning between the Spanish and English versions of this Agreement or any related documents we provide you, either now or in the future, the English version is the official document and will prevail.
Qualifications & exceptions
Because headings do not limit scope, a provision can apply beyond what its title suggests.

Legal Rights & Agreement Rules · Restriction or exception
Chase is not liable for indirect and consequential damages from using the platforms
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as the Agreement specifically provides otherwise, Chase, its affiliates, third parties and their directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents are not liable to you or any third party for indirect, incidental, special, compensatory, consequential or exemplary damages arising from access to, use of (or inability to access or use) or availability of the Digital Platforms, Services or Products, whatever the form of the action and even if advised of the possibility. A separate provision says these limits do not remove any duty under applicable law to act in good faith and with reasonable care, and that a limit prohibited by law is enforced to the fullest extent the law permits.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AND EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, WE, OUR AFFILIATES, ANY OF OUR THIRD PARTIES, AND ANY OF OUR OR THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, COMPENSATORY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES THAT ARISE FROM, REGARD OR RELATE TO, OR RESULT FROM THE ACCESS TO, USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE), OR AVAILABILITY OF (OR LACK THEREOF) THE DIGITAL PLATFORMS, SERVICES, OR PRODUCTS, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Any provision of this Agreement that limits our liability does not negate our duty (if any) under applicable law to act in good faith and with reasonable care. If any provision of this Agreement is determined to limit our liability in a way prohibited by applicable law, the provision will nevertheless be enforced to the fullest extent permitted under that law.
Qualifications & exceptions

Liability limits keep any legal duty of good faith and survive termination
Any provision of the Agreement that limits Chase’s liability does not cancel Chase’s duty, if any, under applicable law to act in good faith and with reasonable care. If a provision is found to limit liability in a way the law prohibits, it is still enforced to the fullest extent the law allows. The Limitation of Liability section continues to apply after the Agreement ends.

Legal Rights & Agreement Rules · Restriction or exception
Arbitration proceeds individually: no class, representative or consolidated claims
Claims in arbitration proceed on an individual basis, for the named parties only. You and Chase agree not to bring a claim in arbitration as a class claim, class action, private attorney general proceeding or other representative proceeding; not to consolidate claims of different claimants (except claimants on the same account), unless Chase agrees; not to be part of or represented in a class or representative action brought by anyone else; and not to seek any award or remedy in arbitration for or against anyone who is not a named party, including public injunctive relief.
Supporting quotations
Claims in arbitration will proceed on an individual basis
YOU AND WE AGREE NOT TO:
SEEK TO PROCEED ON ANY CLAIM IN ARBITRATION AS A CLASS CLAIM OR CLASS ACTION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL PROCEEDING, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING;
SEEK TO CONSOLIDATE IN ARBITRATION ANY CLAIMS INVOLVING DIFFERENT CLAIMANTS (EXCEPT FOR CLAIMANTS WHO ARE ON THE SAME ACCOUNT), UNLESS WE AGREE;
BE PART OF, OR BE REPRESENTED IN, ANY CLASS ACTION OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE ACTION BROUGHT BY ANYONE ELSE; NOR
SEEK ANY AWARD OR REMEDY IN ARBITRATION AGAINST OR ON BEHALF OF ANYONE WHO IS NOT A NAMED PARTY TO THE ARBITRATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PUBLIC INJUNCTIVE RELIEF.
Qualifications & exceptions
Claimants on the same account are the stated exception to the no-consolidation promise.
Consolidation of different claimants is possible if Chase agrees.
Legal Rights & Agreement Rules · Procedure
If the class waiver is unenforceable, a court decides and the claims are split
A court, not the arbitrator, decides any question about whether the class and representative action section can be enforced or how it is read. If a court finds any of its terms unenforceable for a Claim or request for relief, then claims that can lawfully be arbitrated are filed and decided in arbitration; claims that cannot are decided in court; court claims are paused until the arbitration of the others is finished; and when the court case resumes, the court may consider but is not bound by the arbitrator’s findings. For example, if a ban on public injunctive relief is found unenforceable, the request for public injunctive relief goes to court after the other claims are arbitrated individually. No arbitrator may hear a Claim for a non-party or award anything for or against a non-party.
Supporting quotations
Any question regarding the enforceability or interpretation of this section (“What about class actions or representative actions?”) shall be decided by a court and not the arbitrator. If a court determines that any of the terms of this section are legally unenforceable for any reason with respect to a Claim or request for relief sought in connection with a Claim, then you and we agree that the arbitration and litigation shall proceed as follows: (1) all Claims or requests for relief for which arbitration is legally enforceable must be filed and adjudicated in arbitration; (2) any Claims or requests for relief for which arbitration is not legally enforceable will be decided through litigation in court; (3) any Claims or requests for relief that are to be decided through litigation in court will be stayed pending completion of the arbitration of all other Claims or requests for relief; and (4) when litigation in court resumes, the Court may consider but will not be bound by any determination made by the arbitrator. By way of example, if a Claim seeks both public injunctive relief and other relief, and the prohibition on an award of public injunctive relief is found to be unenforceable, then the request for public injunctive relief will be decided in litigation in the court after Claims seeking other relief had been adjudicated in arbitration on an individual basis. For the avoidance of doubt, no arbitrator shall have authority to entertain any Claim on behalf of a person who is not a named party, nor shall any arbitrator have authority to make any award for the benefit of, or against, any person who is not a named party.
Qualifications & exceptions
Applies only if a court finds the class or representative action terms unenforceable for a Claim or request for relief.
Legal Rights & Agreement Rules · Restriction or exception
Third parties can be pulled in; "you" and "we" are defined broadly for arbitration
Arbitration applies whenever there is a Claim between you and Chase. If a third party is also involved, the Claim is decided with respect to that third party in arbitration too, and it must be named as a party under the arbitration rules. The arbitrator grants relief only for or against a named party, and the arbitration may not be consolidated with any other arbitration. For arbitration, "you" includes any person listed on your account, and "we" includes J.P. Morgan Chase, all its affiliates and all third parties regarded as Chase’s agents or representatives in connection with a Claim, including an unaffiliated third party to which Chase assigns your account.

If a third party is also involved in a Claim between you and us, then the Claim will be decided with respect to the third party in arbitration as well, and it must be named as a party in accordance with the rules of procedure governing the arbitration. No award or relief will be granted by the arbitrator except on behalf of, or against, a named party. For purposes of arbitration, “you” includes any person who is listed on your account, and “we” includes J.P. Morgan Chase, all its affiliates, and all third parties who are regarded as agents or representatives of ours in connection with a Claim. (If we assign your account to an unaffiliated third party, then “we” includes that third party.) The arbitration may not be consolidated with any other arbitration proceeding.
Qualifications & exceptions
"We" covers affiliates and agents or representatives for the Claim.
If Chase assigns your account to an unaffiliated third party, that party is included in "we".

Filer picks JAMS or AAA; this Agreement controls over the administrator’s rules
The party filing a Claim in arbitration must choose JAMS or the American Arbitration Association (AAA) as administrator, whose rules in effect when the arbitration begins apply. If those rules conflict with the arbitration agreement or the Agreement, the arbitration provision and the Agreement control. If neither JAMS nor the AAA can handle the Claim, a neutral arbitrator chosen by the parties (or by a court under the FAA if they cannot agree) arbitrates under AAA rules.
Supporting quotations
The party filing a Claim in arbitration must select JAMS or the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") as the arbitration administrator. That organization will apply its rules and procedures in effect at the time the arbitration is commenced. If there is a conflict between the applicable rules and procedures and this arbitration agreement and/or this Agreement, this arbitration provision and this Agreement will control. In the event that JAMS or the AAA is unable to handle the Claim for any reason, then the matter shall be arbitrated instead by a neutral arbitrator selected by agreement of the parties (or, if the parties cannot agree, selected by a court in accordance with the FAA), pursuant to the AAA rules of procedure.

Chase’s rights are waived only in a signed writing; invalid terms are read as closely as possible to intent
Chase does not waive any right or remedy unless the waiver is in writing and signed by Chase. Delay or omission in exercising a right is not a waiver, and a waiver on one occasion does not bar rights on later occasions. If a provision conflicts with governing law or a court finds it invalid or unenforceable, it is treated as restated to reflect the parties’ original intentions as nearly as possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions stay valid and enforceable to the full extent of the law. This section survives termination.
Supporting quotations
We will not be deemed to have waived any of our rights or remedies under this Agreement unless such waiver is in writing and signed by us. No delay or omission on our part in exercising any rights or remedies shall operate as a waiver of such rights or remedies or any other rights or remedies. A waiver on any one occasion shall not be construed as a bar or waiver of any rights or remedies on future occasions.
If any provision of this Agreement conflicts with the law under which this Agreement is to be construed or if any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be deemed to be restated to reflect as nearly as possible the original intentions of the parties in accordance with applicable law. The remaining provisions of this Agreement and the application of the challenged provision to persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is invalid or unenforceable will not be affected thereby, and each of those provisions will be valid and enforceable to the full extent permitted by law.
