Retention & Deletion · Company commitment
Some data may survive deletion and access may be limited by burden or third-party rights
The notice says some information, excluding claims data provided by CMS as part of the “Blue Button” program, may remain in eCW’s records after a deletion request to the extent required by applicable law. It adds that there may be limits to how much information eCW can practically provide, for example limiting access where the burden or expense of providing it would be disproportionate to the risks to an individual’s privacy or where doing so would violate others’ rights.
