Minimum age and guardian responsibility

Users must be at least 13 and meet their country’s minimum age. A person below the age of majority needs a guardian’s agreement. Guardians permitting use and the child are bound by the terms and responsible for account activity and purchases. Discord may use third parties to check age.

Supporting quotations

By accessing our services, you confirm that you’re at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required by the laws in your country. Our services are not designed for nor directed towards users under the age of 13. We may take additional steps, including the use of third-party services, to determine whether you are old enough to create a Discord account or access certain features or spaces. By creating a Discord account or using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and represent that you have either reached the age of "majority" where you live or your parent or legal guardian agrees to be bound by these terms on your behalf.
