Sharing & Disclosure · User right or choice
The issuer may tell merchants storing your Card number about new numbers, expiration dates or Account status
If you let certain merchants or third parties store your Card number and expiration date (for example so a merchant can charge your Account at regular intervals), the issuer may, but is not required to, tell those merchants and third parties if your expiration date or Card number changes or if your Account status is updated, including if your Account is cancelled. If you do not want the issuer to share your updated Account information, you can contact the issuer using the number on the back of your Card.
