Retention & Deletion · User right or choice
You can delete videos or all Your Content, but deleted content stays visible where other users have incorporated it
You can delete specific videos at any time, or all of Your Content by deleting your account as described in Section 5. TikTok will no longer publicly display deleted content except as provided in Section 3.5, which the Terms say explains, for example, that Your Content stays publicly accessible if it has been incorporated into content posted by other users. Section 3.5 is also among the provisions the Terms say survive account deletion, and the license in that section is described as irrevocable.

Cross-references
- contrast (model-proposed): You grant TikTok a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, worldwide license to Your Content — You may delete content, yet the license you grant TikTok is described as irrevocable and deleted content stays publicly accessible where other users incorporated it; the Terms do not reconcile the two beyond the stated exception.
