If no card on file can be charged, Amazon may suspend your account or deregister devices

If Amazon cannot charge a payment to any payment method on file in your Amazon.com account, it reserves the right to pursue any remedy available to it. Named remedies include suspending or terminating your Amazon.com account and, for Amazon devices bought with Monthly Payments, deregistering the device, which blocks your ability to access Amazon content and services from that device.
