Repeated copyright notices tied to your IP address can lead to termination of your service
Under the AT&T Copyright Infringement Program, content owners can send notices of alleged infringement. If a notice identifies an IP address AT&T can, with reasonable efforts, trace to a particular subscriber at the stated time, AT&T forwards a copyright alert to the Account's contact information. If you receive one, it is your responsibility to check your internet-connected devices and local network immediately to avoid more notices. If notices traceable to your Account's IP address continue, AT&T may take further action consistent with 17 U.S.C. 512(i), which may ultimately result in termination of your AT&T Services.
