Capital One Shopping includes Adblock, a browser extension that blocks advertisements such as pop-ups, banners, native placements and other sponsored content on certain websites you visit with it installed, except as otherwise described in these terms.

Our Services include Adblock, which allows you to block advertisements, including pop-ups, web banners, native placements, and other sponsored content, other than as described in these Terms, on certain websites you visit on a browser with the Adblock extension installed.

The Adblock extension tries to block ads, pop-ups, banners, native placements and other sponsored content on certain sites, except as described in the terms. By using the Services you accept that its blocking may vary by website, that some websites may detect it and change your browsing experience, and that some ads cannot be removed; Capital One Shopping makes no guarantee that all ads will be blocked. Once installed, you can turn Adblock on or off for individual websites.

(a) Adblock’s advertisement blocking performance may vary by website, (b) some websites may be able to detect the presence of Adblock and change the browsing experience accordingly, and (c) there may also be certain advertisements that Adblock is not able to remove and we can make no guarantee as to whether all ads will be blocked

Capital One Shopping may present advertisements through the Adblock extension, or by email or other channels, marketing its other products such as the Shopping extension. Adblock will not block Capital One Shopping Promotions, so that you can keep earning Shopping Rewards, and will not interfere with other extensions you have installed, including savings tools such as the Shopping extension. Those other extensions may show temporary displays on websites, which you manage through those extensions. This is the exception the general Adblock description refers to with “other than as described in these Terms”.

We may choose to present advertisements through the Adblock extension or via email or other communication channels marketing other Capital One Shopping experiences, like the Shopping extension.
Adblock will not block Capital One Shopping Promotions so that you can continue to receive Shopping Rewards for completing certain actions or activities.
Adblock will not interfere with the operations of other extensions that you may have installed on your browser (including savings tools such as the Capital One Shopping extension).
Other extensions that you may have installed on your browser may cause temporary displays to appear on the website you are visiting; you can manage those displays through those other extensions.
