Eight chooses foam repair or replacement; you pay transport costs
For a covered defect Eight reasonably recognizes during the ten-year period, it chooses repair or replacement without a repair or replacement charge, but the purchaser pays transport or shipping, handling and inspection costs. Repaired or replaced items retain the original delivery-based warranty clock. A replaced product or cover must be sent to Eight or disposed of as Eight directs. This remains an original-purchaser, normal-home-use warranty, excluding medical-patient use.

Eight will not charge purchaser to repair or replace purchaser's Product if it is reasonably deemed by Eight to be defective according to the terms herein during the first ten (10) years since the original delivery. Any to-or-from transportation handling and costs and inspection costs associated with repairs or replacements are the responsibility of purchaser. The warranty for any repaired or replaced Product runs from the date of original delivery and not from the date of the replacement. Whether to repair or to replace the Product shall be at Eight's sole option.
If replacement of a Product or cover takes place, the product being replaced must be sent to Eight or otherwise disposed of as directed by Eight.
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser from the delivery date of the original Product purchased from Eight Sleep, Inc ("Eight") and is non-transferable. If the original purchaser sells or otherwise relinquishes ownership of the Product to another, the subsequent owner accepts the product "as is" and "with all faults." The warranty no longer applies after any resale of the Product whether new or used. Original proof of purchase (including date) by the original purchaser, this warranty document, and the law tags from the Product will be required to make a warranty claim.
For warranty service, you are required to preserve these documents during the 10 year warranty period. This warranty applies to the Product and not to any accessories or other products associated with the Product. This warranty is applicable only to Products in normal in-home consumer use, and specifically excludes any Product used for a medical patient. This warranty applies to the foam part of the Product and not to any accessories (e.g. the technology layer) or other products associated with the Product.

A paid foam-product upgrade receives a new warranty
During a warranty exchange, you may choose a more expensive product by paying the price difference and the cost of additional sleep-system pieces not replaced under warranty. A new warranty then applies only to that upgraded product and those related additional pieces; an ordinary replacement does not start a new warranty.
