Members, contributors and leaders pledge a harassment-free community for everyone

Community members, contributors and leaders pledge to make taking part in the community free of harassment for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation. They also pledge to act in ways that help build an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive and healthy community. This is a pledge by the whole community, not a separate promise by Hugging Face alone, and it does not by itself state a remedy if the pledge is broken.

Examples of behavior that supports a positive community, including assuming good faith

The Code gives examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment: showing empathy and kindness, respecting differing opinions and experiences, giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback, accepting responsibility and apologizing to those affected by mistakes and learning from them, focusing on what is best for the overall community and not just individuals, and assuming good faith by recognizing that people are interacting with a global community where communication styles and norms may vary. These are examples, not a complete list.
