CCPA rights include non-discrimination and incentive opt-out; Wheel states it does not sell Personal Information

You have the right to be free from discrimination for exercising CCPA rights and may voluntarily participate in or opt out at any time from promotional incentives for sharing information. Wheel does not offer a sale opt-out because it states it does not sell Personal Information under the CCPA (or share it solely for compensation), and De-Identified Information is not subject to CCPA/CPRA rights.

You have the right to be free from discrimination based on your exercise of your CCPA rights. We may run promotions from time to time wherein we incentivize a consumer to share certain pieces of information with us. Participation in these incentives is voluntary, and you may opt out of the data sharing at any time.
Wheel does not offer an opt-out from the sale of personal information because Wheel does not engage in the sale of personal information as contemplated by the CCPA. As noted elsewhere in this disclosure, we share personal information with other businesses for a variety of reasons. While we often benefit from such exchanges, we do not share personal information for the sole purpose of receiving compensation for that information. For avoidance of doubt, De-Identified Information is not Personal Information and therefore is not subject to the CCPA/CPRA rights described in this section.

Wheel states it does not sell Personal Data and requires signed consent for any sale, excluding de-identified data

California consumers have the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of Personal Information; Wheel states it does not sell, disclose, share, or transfer Personal Data for commercial benefit or in compensation for services (though it shares Personal Information with service-provider vendors for background/sanction screenings and administrative, security, or operational functions, and this does not restrict use/disclosure of De-Identified Information), and will ask you to sign a separate consent if it ever desires to transfer Personal Information as a sale.

Supporting quotations

You have the right to submit a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your Personal Information. While Wheel does not sell your Personal Information we may share your Personal Information with a third-party vendor after entering into a service provider agreement. Sharing is done for purposes such as background screenings, sanction screenings, etc.
However, WE DO NOT SELL, DISCLOSE, SHARE OR TRANSFER DATA FOR THE COMMERCIAL BENEFIT OF ANY PARTY. WE MAY PAY MONETARY COMPENSATION TO THOSE PROVIDING OR ASSISTING US IN PROVIDING THE SERVICES THAT YOU HAVE REQUESTED WHEN YOU ENGAGED OUR SERVICES AND SOME OF THOSE SERVICES MAY REQUIRE ACCESS OR PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
PERSONAL DATA OR THE BENEFIT OF ITS USE IS NEVER PROVIDED IN COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES.
*This statement does not restrict Wheel’s use or disclosure of De-Identified Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
As described in this Notice, that does not mean that we do not share your data with other parties, but any disclosure of data is solely performed for the operation of the site and provision of services. These disclosures include administrative functions, security functions, or operational and necessary services without which we cannot operate our business or provide services to you.
In the event Wheel desires to transfer Personal Information in a manner that would constitute a sale of Personal Information, we will ask for you to sign a separate consent that authorizes us to do so.

Qualifications & exceptions
