Necessary transaction data may go to payment and transaction processors

Moonshot may disclose necessary order, payment-status and consumption information to processors, including payment-channel providers and app-store operators, to support paid transactions and refunds. It says these entities access, process or store the information under its instructions and only while performing their duties to Moonshot.

Supporting quotations

To assist us in processing functions such as transactions and refunds for the Paid Services, we may disclose necessary transaction information (such as order information, payment status, consumption status, etc.) to payment and transaction processors. Such processors include but are not limited to payment channel service providers and app store operators. When we cooperate with the above processors, such entities will access, process, or store the relevant information in accordance with our instructions and only in the course of performing their duties to us.

App-store refunds follow the store’s process and may involve usage disclosures

For an app-store purchase, the store operator reviews and processes a refund request under its rules. At the operator’s request, Moonshot may provide consumption information, such as service usage and duration, only as necessary to assist refund review. The clause describes a process, not a guaranteed refund.

Supporting quotations

If you purchase a Paid Service through an app store channel (such as the Apple App Store) and apply for a refund, the refund application will be reviewed and processed by the app store operator in accordance with its rules. In this process, we may need to provide your consumption information (such as service usage and duration of use) to the app store operator at its request, in order to assist with the review. We provide the above information only to the extent necessary for processing the refund application.
