One account and no transfers are the default
Unless a specific service says otherwise, users may hold only one active personal account and may not transfer it. Uber can delete duplicates. Users are responsible for activity and credential security.

In order to use most aspects of the Services, you must register for and maintain an active personal user Services account (“Account”). Unless a specific Service provides otherwise: (i) you must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (if different than 18), to obtain an Account, (ii) you may only possess one Account and (iii) you may not assign or otherwise transfer your Account to any other person or entity. Uber maintains the right to delete or deactivate duplicate accounts. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, and you agree to maintain the security and secrecy of your Account credentials at all times.

Age and minor-use rules include teen accounts
Accounts generally require age 18 or the local age of majority unless a service provides otherwise. Minors normally need adult accompaniment, with parent-created accounts and applicable teen terms as exceptions. Teen invitations attest ages 13–17; guardians are responsible for permitted child activity.

Providers choose whether to accept and users whether to engage them. Once a request starts, cancellation or rescheduling may be unavailable, carry a fee or leave purchased items nonrefundable. The platform includes personalized content and may include AI-enhanced features.

Inactive or unverified accounts may be disabled
Previously banned users cannot register. Uber may disable unconfirmed or long-inactive accounts, accounts it cannot confirm after suspected compromise, fraudulent accounts or those law requires. The stated access-loss disclaimer is limited by law and some clauses survive termination.
