AV rides may generate recordings under provider policies
Using autonomous-vehicle services consents to possible audio, video and sensor recordings for safety, security or quality. They are not user content and belong to Uber, affiliates or partners as applicable, with use governed by law and the relevant privacy notices. The clause does not say recording is continuous.

When you use AV Services, audio, video, and other sensor recordings may be generated by the AV’s systems for safety, security, or service quality purposes. By using the AV Services, you consent to such recordings.

Uber may require personal information and identity or age proof and deny access when it cannot verify it. Users authorize their carrier to disclose account/device information during the relationship solely for identification and fraud prevention.
