AV recording and reuse restrictions preserve observable aspects
AV reverse engineering and recording are restricted except aspects observable and measurable without technical assistance. Users cannot bypass protection, use acquired information to test AV technology, or provide AV-based services to others even for free.

You will not (i) decompile, decipher, distill, reverse engineer, or record any part of the AV Services other than those aspects of the AV Services actually observable and measurable without technical assistance; (ii) destroy, tamper, bypass, or otherwise circumvent any measures employed to prevent, protect, secure, or limit access to any part of the AV Services; (iii) use any information acquired from any AV Service to assist in testing any AV or autonomous vehicle technology; or (iv) use any AV Services to provide a product or service to customers or other third parties, even if no monetary compensation is received for such a service.

Users must notify Uber within 24 hours and cooperate with investigations regarding any incident or accident occurring during use of the Services.

For the purpose of assisting us with our compliance and insurance obligations, you agree to notify us within 24 hours and provide us with all reasonable information relating to any incident or accident that occurs during your use of the Services and you agree to cooperate with any investigation and attempted resolution of such incident.
Autonomous rides can malfunction and are not emergency transport
AVs can be unavailable or behave improperly without warning and may not reach the destination. They are not designed for emergency transport. Using them acknowledges these risks.
