These features may be designed to enhance the functionality, security, safety or overall user experience of our Services. As these features are mandatory, if you do not wish to engage with these features, you may lose access to your account or be required to terminate your account as set forth in Section 9.

Eligibility criteria requiring age 18 and no violent or sexual crime history
Users must be individuals at least 18 years old, legally qualified, and represent that they have not committed, been convicted of, or pled no contest to violence or sexual misconduct.

You are an individual (i.e., not any body corporate, partnership or other business entity) at least 18 years old;
You have not committed, been convicted of, or pled no contest to any crime involving violence or a threat of violence, or sexual misconduct.
You do not have any other accounts on our Services; and
You have not previously been removed from our Services or our affiliates’ services by us or our affiliates, unless you have our express written permission to create a new account.
You are legally qualified to enter a binding contract with Hinge;
You are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo
You are not on any list of individuals prohibited from conducting business with the United States

Users must maintain strong password protection, use at least one photo showing their face, and are prohibited from sharing accounts or misrepresenting identity.

Maintain a strong password and take reasonable measures to protect the security of your login information;
Present yourself respectfully and authentically by adding at least one photo that shows your face.
Misrepresent your identity, age, employment (current or previous), qualifications, or affiliations with a person or entity;
Use another user's account or share your account with another person;

Account deletion by user and discretionary termination by Hinge without refund
Users may delete accounts in app settings. Hinge reserves the right to suspend or ban accounts without refund for terms breaches or inappropriate conduct.

You can delete your account at any time by logging into the App, going to the “Profile” tab, and selecting “Settings” (the gear icon), and following the instructions to terminate your membership. However, you will need to cancel / manage any External Service Purchases through your External Service Account (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) to avoid additional billing.
Hinge also reserves the right to review and, if appropriate, suspend, terminate, or ban your account without a refund if Hinge believes that you have violated these Terms, misused our Services, or behaved in a way that Hinge regards as inappropriate or unlawful, on or off our Services, in our sole discretion.

Automated tools and human reviewers enforce content rules. Users may appeal mistaken removals; repeated manifestly unfounded reports can cause bans.

Authorization ends automatically when eligibility requirements stop being met. Hinge may remove access without warning and the user must delete the account.

Account rights generally end at death unless law provides otherwise. Users cannot transfer the account or granted licenses; Hinge may assign its rights without restriction. Invalid clauses generally leave the remainder intact.
