Advertisers can give T-Mobile lists of ad IDs to target or exclude devices and to find similar people
Through T-Mobile Advertising Solutions, T-Mobile collects data from business clients and third-party partners that display ads, including their employees' names and contact information. Those clients or partners may give T-Mobile lists of mobile advertising IDs (MAIDs) for a campaign, or other information about people who view their campaigns, which could include your device's MAID. T-Mobile may serve its clients' ads to people in its Relevant Ads, Personalized Ads and Offers, and Tailored Offers and Ads programs, or to people whose data a business client or partner provides. It uses what advertisers and partners send to serve ads to the associated devices, to exclude those devices from an ad, or to identify other MAIDs that may relate to people with similar interests.
