AI features: AI not human; prompts are User Content; sessions may be stored and used for training
The Services may offer AI Features such as chatbots or AI-powered search. When using them, the user is interacting with artificial intelligence, not a human. Prompts and messages typed into AI Features are User Content. AI chat sessions may be monitored, recorded, reviewed and stored by CNN (and its third-party providers) to generate responses to subsequent prompts, to respond to requests, and for quality, training and improvement purposes — and to train other artificial intelligence technologies. Terms of Use tells the user to review the sources cited by AI Features and to make independent judgment before relying on AI-provided information; the liability-disclaimer section separately states the CNN Parties are not responsible for user actions or inaction based on information presented on the Services.
